  1. This is a preliminary release version of a Keyboard Macro Program
  2. called DEF KEY. It requires Microsoft Windows version 3.1 to operate.
  3.  
  4. (This program was formally called HOT KEY, but interfered with existing
  5.  programs, also called HOT KEY. The program itself has not changed.)
  6.  
  7. The following files are included with this release:

  9.    DEFKEY.EXE - The Main Executable file.
  10.    DEFKEY.DLL - The DLL Library required by DEF KEY.
  11.    DEFKEY.HLP - The WinHelp 3.1 compatible help file.
  12.    READ.ME    - This file.

  14. To install the program:

  16.    1. Copy DEFKEY.* into your Windows Directory.
  17.       (DEFKEY.DLL can also be moved to your Windows\System Directory.)
  18.    2. Add DEFKEY to your Program Manager.
  19.    
  20. THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES VBRUN100.DLL, available in the Microsoft MSBASIC
  21. forum in Library 5:Visual Basic, as VBRUN.ZIP (170K in size).

  23. There is no documentation with this release. I am hoping that the
  24. Help file will suffice.
